We Know Chinos

So what's a chino anyway? Chinos - they go a long way.

Chinos are made of chino cloth, a kind of twill fabric, usually made from cotton. These were originally used in British and French military uniforms in the mid-1880s. They're now used primarily to make civilian clothing. These pants were originally made in China but gained popularity in the U.S. in the 1900s after military men returning from the Philippines after the Spanish-American War brought back their cotton military trousers.
